Eligibility & Contest Rules

The Coolest Thing Made in Florida competition is a statewide initiative designed to highlight and celebrate Florida’s manufacturing sector. By participating, all nominees and voters agree to abide by the rules outlined below and uphold the integrity and spirit of the competition.

Eligibility Requirements

  • The product must be manufactured in Florida.
  • The company’s headquarters does not need to be located in Florida, but the product must be manufactured in a Florida-based facility to qualify.
  • The product must be produced through a manufacturing process.
  • Products must be made using a verifiable manufacturing process. Handcrafted, custom, or made-to-order items (such as food prepared in restaurants) do not qualify. Mass-produced goods, machinery, and technology products are eligible.
  • Limited to one product per company.
  • Companies may only have one product featured in the Top 32 bracket. If multiple products are nominated from a single company, they will need to select which product advances in the competition.
  • One award per product
  • Winning companies are not eligible to submit the same product in future competitions. However, they may nominate a different product in future contests.
  • The Florida Chamber reserves the right to determine which products qualify.
