Save the Date: The Coolest Thing Made in Florida Returns Spring 2026

The Coolest Thing Made in Florida competition is coming back.

After more than 400,000 votes, participation from companies across the state, and five competitive rounds in its inaugural year, the Florida Chamber is preparing to once again spotlight the innovation, talent, and products manufactured right here in Florida.

Nominations and public voting will open Spring 2026.

How the Competition Works

Nomination Period Opens

(April 13 – May 31, 2026)

  • Any product manufactured in Florida is eligible.
  • Businesses, employees, and the public can self-nominate or nominate a company.
Popular Vote – Determines Top 32

(June 15 – July 1st, 2026)

  • Public voting is open to all nominees.
  • Voters may vote once per day
  • Top 32 products advance to the Bracket Competition
Bracket Competition Begins (Single Elimination)

(July 15 – October 23, 2026)

Top 32 → Top 16:
July 15 – July 28

Top 16 → Top 8:
Aug 4 – Aug 18

Top 8 → Top 4:
Aug 25 – Sept 8

Top 4 → Top 2:
Sept 15 – Sept 29

Final Round Voting:
Oct 12 – Oct 23

Winner Announcement

(October 28, 2026)

  • The Coolest Thing Made in Florida will be crowned at the Florida Future Forum!
  • The winner receives statewide recognition, a trophy, media spotlight, and a digital badge.
